Passenger by Alexander Bracken Review

OMG I finally picked this book up. I think I bought this book like what, three years ago? The hype was so big for this book, so I bought it, but I never really was in the mood for a time travel story with complicated fantasy settings so I just never picked it up.

But I am SO GLAD I DID!!

This book was full of twists and turns and I loved every single one of them. This book was close to five hundred pages but the story flew by so fast that I read it and only in about three days. I loved the main character Etta, she was such a relatable narrator and I absolutely loved her fierce attitude and personality.

We got to see different settings during different time periods as Etta and Nicholas jumped in to different time periods which was really cool. I could definitely tell that the author did a lot of research because her writing allowed the reader to envision the different places the characters were in such as Paris, London and the deserts.

Additionally, I fairly enjoyed the different customs of different time periods. It was interesting to see how differently people act during different times and I liked how the author also incorporated the aspect of racism before racial equality was settled.

Plus I loved Nicholas and Etta's relationship...just sayin;).

The ending was such a HUGE goodness the plot twist truly wasn't expected and I'm so excited as to what will happen next.

I rate this book a 5/5 stars! I definitely recommend this book it is such a whirlwind of a story!!! I'm definitely excited to see how the author will finish the story
