YALLWEST Experience!!!

This year I finally got to attend one of the biggest, well known book conventions, YALLWEST!!!

And as expected, it was pretty amazing! I got to meet authors, get free stuff and fangirl with other book nerds...what isn't there to love? I just wanted to share how Yallwest went and show you guys the books I've got!

Fierce Friday:

Fierce Friday was a super fun preview event where you can meet authors, get your books signed and etc. to get your weekend started off right! At this event I got to meet one of my favorite authors of all time, Veronica Roth and a contemporary author I have been loving lately-Nicola Yoon! They were super nice and it was so great finally getting to meet them!!!

Also, there were a lot of games like book trivia...which I won and got books because it's book trivia and I know my books😎

People were super cray this year and started lining up around early as 4:30 in the morning! I went around eight in the morning hence the event starting at nine and the line was looongg.

So I had a schedule planned out and everything but like...things didn't quite go as expected😰 So my friend and I just ended up doing anything that sort of came in to view.

Which turned out SUPER well, because omg there is free stuff EVERYWHERE! From movie posters, book posters to book swag and ARCS, literally you could turn around and go to a random booth and come out with a ton of stuff! I ended up snagging nine free books in total!

Books I got:

ARC of Things I Should Have Known by Claire LazeBnix

ARC of Genuine Fraud by e. lockhart

ARC of The Sandcastle Empire by Kayla Olson

Love and Gelato by Jenna Evans Welch

ARC of This Mortal Coil by Emily Suvada

Still Life with Tornado by A.S King

ARC of Generation One by Pittacus Lore

ARC of When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon

ARC of The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzie Lee

I desperately wanted to attend Leigh Bardugo's ARC signing for Warbringer but the tickets were sold out literally thirty minutes in to the event so I was unable to go:( I'm still internally crying about it😖

But other than that I truly had an amzing time! Yallwest definitely deserved all the hype it gets and I cannot wait for Yallwest 2018!
