Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor Review

YAYAY!!! I FINALLY finished my first Laini Taylor book! I have heard so many good things about this author and I had her book Daughter of Smoke and Bone but I never read it...

BUT! I knew I wanted to read this book because of the hype surrounding it and it was very well deserved!

This book is MAGICAL! The world building is incredible and the imagery in this book is fantastic and so vivid I could see everything as if I were seeing it with my own eyes.

It did take me a while to get used to Laini Taylor's lyrical way of writing but in about thirty pages or so I got used to it and I really enjoyed it a lot! I think what makes this book so great is the fact that it is both plot driven and character driven which is't common in YA fiction.

That is pretty much all I can say without spoiling anything! I rate this book a 4.5/5 stars. I cannot wait for the next installment in this series because let me tell you, The CLIFFHANGER!!! If you haven't read this book yet, drop everything and check it out because you are missing out!

1. The Characters:

This book was FULL of interesting characters! I loved Lazlo and love for books and discovery! Sarai was great and I loved her personality as well. So many characters that weren't even main characters had their own unique personalities and that really shone in to this book. I loved every single character and found all of them interesting.

2. Eril Fane and Azareen

Their story hit me the hardest. The heartbreak and the obstacles they've been through really made mt heart ache. I ship them hard so much and I seriously want them to get through their struggles and be with each other.

3. Lazlo and Sarai

I LOVED their relationship so much! The dreams that Lazlo had was so cute and I loved every single page of it! I'm definitely curious ass to where they're relation is going to go in the next bok and I'm super worried because Minya has power over Sarai now-which I am SUPER PISSED about but anyway, if they do not end up together I am going to kill someone so yeah...

I totally didn't see this coming! Lazlo is Godspawn??? WHAT?!?! This is one of the few times where I didn't know this was coming and now he's Minya's brother and now things are so complicated but more interesting than ever! There were so many bombs (literally) and plot twists at the end I couldn't stop gasping.

So yeah. That was my ranting. You know a book is really good when I write long reviews and start ranting. So Go read this book! You won't regret it!
