The End of Oz by Danielle Paige Spoiler Free Review

FINALLY! It's not every day I can say that I stayed loyal to a series! I usually end up not finishing a series unless I really really like it! This series holds a lot of memories for me because I read the first book, Dorothy Must Die when it first came out back in 2014. I never imagined that I would be finishing this series but here I am:)

So, as I stated, reading this book was super bittersweet. This book was definitely not perfect and was definitely not the best book in the series by far but I still really enjoyed it!

Even though I read the last book, the Yellow Brick War more than a year ago, the first chapter really took me back in to this world. I really appreciated the short recaps the author put in the book as a refresher! It really helped me jump straight back in to the story!

I loved the sarcastic humor in this book portrayed by our protagonist Amy! I loved her character growth in this book and I could see her grow as a person which was great! I really liked the relationship between Nox and Amy was well:)

My favorite aspect of this book was .....Dorothy got her own POV Chapters! They were all super funny and hilarious and despite everything she has done, I still felt for her. We definitely got more of a glimpse in to her life and how she became who she was and that was really cool to see.

I am going to say that while the ending resolution of this book was pretty fun and had a nice twist, it could've ended a lot better and it definitely could've been at least a hundred pages more longer. I honestly felt that the ending was being really rushed somehow.

Overall, I rate this book a 3.5/5 stars! I definitely recommend you give this series a go if you haven't yet! While the last book isn't the best-not that it's bad, it's still good-the series is super fun and fast paced so it definitely has something for everybody!

Thanks for reading!
